REQUIREMENTS:
These requirements
are subject to change at the discretion of the current COCModSquad. Having met
the requirements for various COC programs, access to programs such as the
library, is a privilege granted to members in good standing and not automatic
with membership.
1. Members must actively (10
posts per month) participate for 3 consecutive months on
CITY-o-Clay.
2. Be a member in good standing, and not currently on
moderated status.
3. We use the above mentioned three month posting
guidelines to get to know members, and until the three months are up there are
plenty of online tutorials, webcam screenshots, and demo logs at
http://www.norajean.com to keep new
members busy and inspired.
4. Only one item will be loaned per member at a time.
5. The item can be borrowed for a period of 2 to 3
weeks, and renewed once if there are no members on the waiting list.
6. The borrowing member will contact the librarian (Denise
Standifer) by the end of the first 3 weeks.
7. When finished with the item the borrowing member
should write a quick critique of the item and post it to
CITY-o-Clay@yahoogroups.com
8. The librarian will E-mail the address to send the
borrowed item.
If you would
like to borrow an item from the library you can use this
request form. You can also
email the librarian. Be sure to
include the word "library" in your email's subject line.
TO VIEW THE BOOK COVERS:
The front page pictures of most of the books are located at

Look through the
pictures, and if you one you would like to borrow, make a note of the book
title, and use this
request form. You can also
email the librarian. Be sure to
include the word "Library" in your email's subject line.
Books will be mailed via Media Mail, with delivery confirmation as
a tracking agent. We don't want your books to get lost, now do we?
If there is a book you would like to see, and we don't have it, give a
shout out to the list, and we will try to find it.
LIBRARY DONATIONS:
Donations are always welcome. Books, postage, and even money are appreciated.
Any kind of book is welcome, as long as it would pertain, in any way,
to any aspect of clay. Maybe it just inspired you, or gave you a color scheme
idea. Anatomy books are good too.
Money donations are also
welcome and helps cover the cost of postage. It is appreciated but not
required to borrow from the library.
I might get you to send a borrowed book to the next person on
the list for that book. I'll give you the address. Check with me before you
mail it anywhere. When this happens, you will need to pay
postage. You would have to pay it, anyway, to send it back to the
library. This saves time and money for all of us.
If you would like to keep a book a little longer e-mail me and let me know. If
we have no one waiting for it, you will be able to renew it. If there is
someone, you will have to let them have their turn, then you can have it sent
back to you.
