Alrighty - - I borrowed the PolyPens Booklet from our library recently and I've got a quick review of it. If you are not familiar with it, it's by Linda Peterson and she has really great ideas. I love her little animals and this book is no exception. There is a snowman pen set perfect for Winter Time. There is a Mouse with his Toadstool that is adorable. Next is Tubby Turtle, who has a different finish to him because she uses a brown watercolor crayon for his shell which is really neat. Then there is the Veggie Patch Pals set that look so detailed but she makes it so easy with her directions and patterns included.
Next up is Gypsy and Gaudy the funniest little birds I have ever seen - perfect as a gift to someone who has everything. Of course I can't forget her Moose, Scarecrow, and Octopus ones next which are all delightful but my favorites are the dogs - a dachshund, a basset hound, a beagle and a dalmation. Then last but not least is a cute little cat pen that
would make a wonderful gift for any cat lover!! The beginning of this book also has a page that shows what shapes, sizes, how to do a basic pen wrap for any beginner! I highly recommend this for some fun pens!

Hi, I must say I am sorry for keeping this book far past my time but I must confess as a newbie/beginer in the clay world I thought it was a great guide for all. I mean it covered it all, shapes, sizes, easy step by step how to's WITH PICTURES FOR EACH STEP ! It gave me lot's of ideas
to expand on.Even if you have been in clay for years I would say take a peek at some old favorites(the pen's) and get a fresh idea or two.
If I get a Bashful basset hound pen done I will post it ! I am also
working on my own twist now a Schnauzer pen too! Hugs Gerry
