Sue's book is a great book for beginners with lots of great techniques and how to's. The faces are pretty simple faces and don't have much character to them, but the how to's on how to do them will get you
started in making faces. Adding character and expressions will come when you get more experienced.

There are also patterns in the book for making clothing in several
different periods.

I also saw a lot of tools that she has that would be easily made at home. So again in that way the book was very useful. Things I hadn't thought of before, it was like a duh moment, lol.

So it's a great book for beginners on dollmaking.
