How to get yourself kicked off of CITY-o-Clay

Now some of us here think that liberty is equal to license. That
freedom of expression means that one can be mean spirited here. That
fussing and arguing is something that I will allow to go on here on
the list.

Think again.
(06-22-07 Update: CITY-o-Clay started as MSATClayArt. MSAT's motto was "Uplift, Educate and Love". This motto has shaped COC.)

If I have to remind people here once more about the MSAT Motto of
Uplift, Educate and Love I'm going to unsub the people causing the
disturbance. It's not a one way street where we, who ever WE are, have
to uplift, educate and love and get nothing in return. It means
EVERYONE has to move to that drum beat or leave out of here.

I'll unsub folks who do not heed this post. I don't care if there's
only 12 people here who love each other and clay and make minis like
mad, if I have to unsub hundreds in order to maintain the peace, then
I'll do it.

Obviously some of our new people don't know me. Some folks who feel
they can say hurtful things and piss on someone's happy times and that
I'll be an absentee Lead Moderator. Some folks think that I won't do
something to regain the peace. Well some folks just don't know me and
aren't getting the subtle hints about being compassionate and kind
that I've sent through in over a half a dozen posts this last day or
so. So I guess the time for subtlety is past.

I will come down like a rock. I've received emails about how mean
spiritedness and the lack of compassion in some posts have caused
hurt. I have put the list member on Moderated status meaning they
cannot post without my permission. Other Moderators do not approve of
the posts, that's my job now. I've sent a letter for a "One to One"
discussion about how the tone and tenor of this list is to be. If the
person wants to argue with me they will be removed from this list.

I do not play in situations like this. A post to the list is like a
rock in a pond, the ripples extend out and touch 688 other folks and
they touch at least 10 other people. Shall our posts send out negative
energy? Nope, not on my watch.

Take that energy elsewhere. It is not welcome here and will no longer
be tolerated.
