Draft Welcome Letter

First and foremost welcome to the CITY!

You will find yourself in a community who cares about 
nurturing each artist as much as possible, throughout each 
creative step we all take together.

You have chosen to be part of the _____________ CITY list.  
Please note that we have several other Sister CITY lists 
springing up as development continues.

Our motto is: Creating what we love; Loving what we create.  
It is that simple.

All groups operating under the CITY banner believe in a 
positive and nurturing environment.  We are all about 
inspiration and enjoying the practice of creation.  We have 
many groups beginning to build at this very moment, so please 
keep your eyes peeled for newest additions.

At this time, the following Sister CITY lists include:

Please feel free to become a member of as many CITY groups 
as you would like!  We strive to be the best artists we can 
be while keeping a positive spin on things.  

We are a chatty group not limited to only "on topic" postings.  
Our CITYzens are very important to us, as it is through each 
one of you that we build the best CITY we can!  We'll often 
send kind words when needed, send a high five (^5) when a 
Citizen sends a photo or link to their latest creation, and 
offer congratulations or condolences when warranted.  We 
are a community of friends here.  We do care very much about 
each other, and hope you will do the same.  All we ask is 
that you respect each other and treat all members with 
kindness.  Certain "hot topics" should be avoided, such as 
politics.  (insert more "hot topics" here that need to be 
avoided)

Should someone post a flame email or one that is offensive 
to you, please don't respond to the list.  Take it to one o
f our moderators, and we will do our best to handle the 
situation with all parties involved.  This way we don't have 
to place negativity and hurt feelings on the list.  Your 
cooperation will be most appreciated, thank you.

Once again, welcome to our family!  Please email any of the 
moderators if you have questions about your particular group, 
what is allowed, or if there is a problem with another member. 

We are so glad to have you become a part of the family.
